All human beings have an inborn capacity for language acquisition. Our mission is to create a world of true language speakers, by enabling world language instructors to achieve results rapidly, with ease, with students of every cognitive stage and learning style.
Students today have short attention spans, and many students are poor readers. They struggle in language classes when teachers use traditional classroom pedagogy that is focused on lecture-style instruction, where student activity is limited to rote repetition, or memorization of isolated vocabulary words, definitions, and translation from the target language into English. In the early phase of new language acquisition, the demand for neuromuscular rehearsal places a high cognitive value on speaking and listening, compared to reading and writing.
Not a novelty or fad, but a genuine breakthrough in language instruction based on scientific cognitive research, the QTalk® method incorporates ideas, suggestions and requests from hundreds of teachers over the years. QTalk® has been proven successful in the place where it counts - real classrooms, with real teachers and students. In fact, this method and our products are now used in hundreds of schools by thousands of teachers in classrooms of all kinds, in every region of the United States as well as in Canada, Mexico, Singapore, Switzerland, the British Virgin Islands, and other countries.
For members of the media, whether traditional newspaper, television and radio, or new social media, bloggers, vloggers and podcasters, if you are wondering how this actually works, we would invite you, "Come and see!"
